The training is divided into two parts and two days. Level-I includes all the necessary basics of network technology and places requirements on switches, cabling and configuration for operation in professional event environments in the foreground. Here, lighting and sound technicians participate together. Level-II includes further topics on system design with network components such as topologies and redundancies in practice. Level-II takes place on consecutive days, first for sound technicians, then for lighting technicians. For Ton Dante Audio and Licht Art-Net, a central theme is illuminated by A-Z. Topics such as clocking, latency, unicast, multicast and ‘multi’ unicast and the system boundaries are not neglected. In the afternoon of the Level-II day, it is about applying the learned in practice and live on the devices.
