Sound engineers use two-channel FFT-based audio analysis software to measure sound systems. The development of experience in the field requires years of practice in a short production time. The exercises documented here aim to shift this valuable production time without requiring a sound system. The user should get to know and practice his measurement software, the collected data and the basic work steps for parameterization of sound systems better.
MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A two-channel FFT Analyzer measuring software for the computer.
- A DAW software.
- A signal routing solution between FFT Analyzer Software and DAW Software.
For the preconfigured and documented exercises, an Apple Macintosh computer with Apple Logic X DAW software, Audinate Dante Via software and the reader's preferred two-channel FFT measurement software is required.
The reader is expressly encouraged to use their own preferred DAW software and to be inspired by the videos to create their own exercises.
