IT for AVs®

My name is Bodo Felusch. I have been in the event industry for over 25 years and have dealt with IT networks in event technology at an early stage. Today, I pass on my knowledge to others in tried-and-tested, practical seminars.

If you want to understand Lake completely, you have to go to Bodo. He is one of a few knowledgeable freaks who want to share their knowledge and most of all CAN!

Bodo Felusch knows how to take his training participants with him from the very first minute. First, Felusch introduces the range of Lake Controllers, introduces the operation of the software and rounds it off with practical exercises. Finally, it is presented how to set up your ‘construction sites’ and how to save yourself a lot of furnishing work and thus reach your goal quickly. Ultimately, you learn much faster and more intensively and through a lot of practical orientation also much deeper than by studying the operating instructions. All in all, highly recommended for any system technician who deals with Lake. Lake Controlling from 0 to 100.

I have now had several occasions to attend the seminars presented excellently by Bodo in terms of content. This seminar opens up the LAKE world with many useful details and very important basic knowledge at the same time. For me, a ‘must’ for every serious sound engineer!

Everybody of us has seen Lake on countless event places....but one day You need to know more about it, or even have to work with... This Lake Training I recommend to all who want to start with, or need to work with in future. It gives You the right step in what Lake is in detail, and what it does... Practical exercises explain the various ways of use, and show You the way to continue....

Since we invested in LabGruppen and Lake a long time ago, I had already dealt with the matter for a long time. Nevertheless, I still lacked some ideas and background knowledge (especially in the field of network technology) to find or configure the perfect system solution for us. Bodo has taken us a big step forward in all matters. Last but not least, from his practice came good suggestions and know how. His documents are more than detailed, as they represent a good guide in German, especially for Lake users and not ‘native english speaker’, which can be used again and again. Many thanks to Bodo, and his know-how!
The Lake seminar at TWAudio was first class! Sophisticated, comprehensible, demanding and completely successful. A lot of practical relevance and meaningful solutions to problems ‘on the construction site’ ... definitely brought me a lot!

The seminar was exactly what we needed. Jonas Engelmeier conveyed the contents comprehensibly and with examples from his practical experience. The participants had different prior knowledge. Jonas managed to pick up each one where he or she was standing.
With concentrated knowledge, a very rich wealth of experience, passion for the profession and a pinch of wit and charm, Bodo Felusch guides through his seminars and manages to arouse interest, understanding and the desire for the topic in an understandable and simple way among the participants.

For Neutrik AG, the topic of ‘AV networks’ is becoming more and more important and the seminar ‘IT for AVs’ was ideal for this! Complex issues are explained in an easy-to-understand way and supported by practical examples. Absolutely recommendable!

Network technology has been gaining full traction in our industry for several years now, with such a well-structured and easy-to-understand seminar by Bodo and Jonas, you can clearly and easily overcome the fear if you want to start with the topic. And for me as an old rabbit with the attitude ‘learning by doing’, Jonas has filled some knowledge gaps. It does not matter if designer, operator, technician, or planner, everyone should attend the seminar to understand the basics of network technology.
Great seminar, highly recommended. It is rare for a specialist seminar to consider the cost-effectiveness of various components in a meaningful way and whites, but this is wonderfully implemented at Bodo. The participants are all picked up at their point and useful knowledge is presented in a comprehensible and entertaining way. Thanks, keep it up.
Two days at Bodo simply cover all open question marks on the edited topics. Finally you understand what Dante really can and can't do. Finally, you understand where the possibilities and limits of network technology really lie and how you can use them for yourself and your planning. Bodo draws neatly through the extensive content, but always has an ear and the necessary detour for intermediate questions and understanding problems. You can't invest your time better.

At the end of the two days, the head smokes – in a very, very pleasant way! Bodo Felusch conveys expert knowledge sensibly compressed, purposefully prepared and competently presented – without losing sight of the participants of his courses or the necessary short break. The course content offers a very well-selected cross-section of basics, helpful thinking and working approaches and real specials for the job. The fact that the practical part is not neglected is due to the second day of the course! As network technology in the audio industry will sooner or later not be available, here is a clear recommendation: Let's go! Rating: ***** deluxe!
Both Bodo in the basics and Jonas in the Lichtler part know how to explain the necessary food of the network technology in a clear and comprehensible way and to leave everything unnecessary for the event technology away. The sometimes dry theory is loosened up again and again by funny anecdotes, which illustrate exemplarily what and why happens when you choose the same setting incorrectly or correctly. Bodo’s course is the easiest and most comfortable way for any event technician to get up to date on network technology. Absolutely recommendable. Thank you, Bodo & Jonas, always happy.

MS Event Technology
The rescue for every event technician who is confronted with networks. In my opinion, a lot will change in the next few years and anyone who does not deal with it until it is no longer possible to do otherwise will have a problem at the latest. Now is the time to prepare for the upheaval. Bodo and Jonas do pioneering work and provide the knowledge they have gathered over several years for a narrow valley. This simply saves the student 1-2 years of time in which he would have to rummage through tens of thousands of Internet posts. Practical, by no means stand out and with wit and fun a lot of practical knowledge is imparted. Thanks for that!

Bodo is one of the pleasant, experienced audio colleagues who has now really earned a lot for further education. Born from first need, professionalized in the right way, it has answers to today's technical requirements in the AV industry. And his seminar program offers all interested professionals detailed knowledge. In our industry, we need more and more professionals who can develop highly specialized solutions. And we all need this in-depth knowledge of our material, especially with a lot of experience you can get along in a practical way, but then the decisive foundations are missing – it is wise to improve. I always say healthy half-knowledge is good, but it is not enough to find the solution at the decisive moment. In his trainings you learn important things in detail. This helps to take the decisive step forward in planning or troubleshooting. Every training company should send its specialists to such a course!

A real highlight of our Rental Days was the trial course "Network Technology for Event Technicians" by Bodo Felusch. In addition to basic knowledge of what goes with a network and what does not, he showed how mixed networks with audio, light and video work. In addition, Bodo Felusch gave tips on buying the right equipment and presented his rules for a stress-free life with network technology in an entertaining way.

This was another seminar that was really fun. Very interesting content and with great practical relevance. Every event technician should really be encouraged to participate, because without this knowledge, you are no longer able to use current and increasingly common systems correctly and reliably. Thank you, for this new and high-quality input, will definitely recommend the seminar!

A good friend and very good desk man gave me the idea to participate in this seminar. As a freelancer, you honestly think: ‘Huhhh, that's a deep grip in the pocket for a workshop!’. After not so long consideration and the exchange with another colleague, I booked the 2 days but then decidedly for a short time. I have never been particularly interested in computers, networks or the like and am already extremely demanding with the connection of a router at my home. I am all the more aware that sooner or later these ‘white spots on my map’ will mean that I will hardly be able to do demanding jobs in the industry. It's amazing how much new knowledge you can extract from just two days. Thanks to the very comprehensive and clearly structured presentation, the fear of hardly being able to follow the content without profound network knowledge has dissipated directly and I think I have now received a good basic equipment in order to better understand the topic of network in sound technology in the coming weeks, but above all to be able to apply it independently. I will continue to work on this topic in the form of training in the camp, but as soon as possible for the first time, with networks set up by me (and not by colleagues;-)) ) on productions, regardless of whether this would also be ‘conventional’ possible. Thanks to Bodo! I highly recommend this workshop! (...and have already done so;-)))) Daniel Hambuch

Through the Network Technology Level 1 seminar, I have gained a better understanding and handling of many of the background processes and technologies with which I have been in constant contact for a long time in my work and also in private life, and also got to know a lot of new things. By intensively dealing with the subject matter, especially in the aftermath of the seminar, I had many ‘aha experiences’ and now understand much better what happens when I network devices with each other, what pitfalls there are and where I can start troubleshooting even in more complex networks. I appreciate the way Bodo conveys knowledge naturally, funny and unexcited and can only recommend this seminar to everyone without restriction.

Dear VA technicians, I can warmly recommend this seminar to anyone interested. With our start-up Eventnet, we specialised in providing temporary network solutions, but initially focused on guest access and mobile data connections. How deeply the network technology is already rooted in ALL trades, however, became clear to me only at the seminar. Bodo and his colleagues have worked out the (sometimes very complex) contents and, in addition to the theoretical foundations, conveyed practical tips. My conclusion: I found the seminar very inspiring and extremely valuable.

By attending the seminar Network Technology for Event Technicians Level-I and II, I was able to create a basis that I can now fall back on in practice. The demystification of matter helps one to reduce reservations and fears and to decide specifically for the use of network technology and the associated advantages. Bodo manages to convey a lot of information within the short seminar time. Using simple and well-chosen examples, links are created that help you to remember what you have learned in the long term. So I can fully recommend the seminar, an absolute top investment!

I came with little idea but a lot of interest in the topic of network technology and audio network technology. Bodo Felusch has managed to impart his immense knowledge within a very short time and to leave us tools with which we can work sustainably. Bodo Felusch = loose, grounded, to the point, competent. Thank you very much ⁇

Bodo's two-day DANTE seminar was absolutely outstanding. The theory was conveyed in a concentrated manner, so that constant thinking was required. Even if the head was smoky after 8 hours, all the important facts were known and really understood. With the practical exercises on the second day, you have the feeling that you are now really able to venture into larger DANTE networks.

The seminar has a very good practical part in relation to our daily dealings in network technology. Personally, I was able to use this to my advantage in order to get order in complex systems and to understand basic things when dealing with Dante/Switches and IP address management. I would recommend the seminar to any sound engineer who has to deal with the constant growth of network parts in our audio world. Moving forward in a future-oriented way is the motto!

A really interesting and extensive seminar which I was able to experience two days with Bodo and Jonas! Everything important was discussed, from the basics to the deep ‘engraved’. Personally, I found it very good that despite my booking and my interests in the field of light, the topic of sound was also addressed again and again, since in practice, as a rule, both trades (if not more) share the network. Everything has to work smoothly...! I have even more security now! As a support staff member in the sales department of the LMP, I have to say that - due to the questions I know so well - every event technician will need this seminar as a basis for the coming years in VA technology!

We use networking technology at events every day. However, we now finally know what to really pay attention to, right down to the small but important settings in network switches. This seminar is a must. Thanks for the great insights! It was certainly one of the most interesting seminars I had attended so far.
